What is a home Inspection?
A home inspection is a process of professional limited examination of the property`s current condition. It allows the inspector to evaluate major systems and components of a home.
When do I need a home inspection?
When you are buying a house, you have a 10 day window to inspect the property and provide the seller with the findings. You may also want to request an inspection when preparing to sell a property.
If you happen to buy a new built constriction, most builders provide a one year warranty. So before it expires, make sure to have an inspection and then ask the builder to fix any issues. An annual inspection is also a good idea to make sure major house components are functioning the way they are supposed to.
How much does a home inspection cost?
Our prices are transparent and set. True Property Inspection cost depends on three factors:
Who pays for a home inspection?
The person ordering the inspection is usually the one who is paying for it. In most cases, it is the client who is buying or selling a home.
What is included in a home inspection?
True Inspection includes all major components of a home:
Can an inspection fail?
No, a home inspection can`t fail. Unlike a city inspection, which can fail a certain stage during the construction process, True Property inspection is a visual examination of a home`s current condition.
When do I get a report?
We are proud to be able to provide the report within 12 Hrs after the walk-through takes place.
Do you do termite inspection?
Yes, we do. It is an additional service available to all clients at $50 per termite inspection. Termite report is provided within 12 Hrs.
What is sewer scope?
A Sewer scope is a video inspection of the lateral sewer line leading from the house at or near the foundation and connecting to the city or HOA tank or septic tank.
Why do I need a sewer scope inspection?
We use modern equipment to get to see what is going on inside the drainage pipes which is invisible to the inspector from the outside. A sewer line is often one of the most costly things to repair in a home. Avoid investing in a property that has sewer/septic system issues!
When is payment due?
The Payment is due after the walk-through with the inspector and before you receive the digital report.
Do I need an inspection on a new construction?
We recommend having an inspection on any home and this includes new construction homes. Even though most builders are high quality builders, it is always a good idea to hire a third party inspector to make sure no items were missed or incomplete.
